Herima's vocals sound stronger and far more varied than the initial recording (Not to mention over Betit's ability), while the technical aspect of the band seems to have been stepped up and emphasised more (Particularly with the melodic solo leads), all the while remaining aggressive.
The opening track Eradication was offered up as taste of what was to come from the band some time back as a roughly recorded demo, and while at the time it was a little disappointing in the production/song writing sense at the time, the same can't be said for finished version. Undeterred, the remainder of the group (Guitarist Beniko Orum, bassist Mike Tiner and drummer Matt Kuykendall) inducted in ex-Gunmetal Grey vocalist Hernan 'Eddie' Hermida and guitarist Chris Storey into the line-up, and forged ahead with work on their sophomore effort. But as successful as 2005 was on the touring front for the band, it wasn't without its casualties, as vocalist Craig Betit and guitarist/vocalist Caysen Russo decided to leave the group due to musical differences. Since having their debut album re-released in 2005 by Nuclear Blast Records (Which was initially released through the small underground Japanese label Amputated Vein Records in 2003), Oakland (California) based melodic death metal/metalcore act All Shall Perish have been spreading their message out on the road with the likes of Crematorium, The Red Death, Vehemence, Agnostic Front, Love Is Red, Martyr AD, Hate Eternal, Incantation, Into Eternity and Krisiun with plenty of success.
